MCBA Visual Journal Collective Meeting Supply Swap

On Monday, October 18th, I went to my monthly Visual Journal Collective meeting at MCBA. I was sad to have missed the September meeting when I was on my road trip out West. The meeting I missed was about travel journals. A bunch of people shared their journals with the group. I wish I could have seen them, but I was traveling! This past Monday there was a supply swap and auction. It was SOOOOO much fun. After the swap was over, people who had new things to share stood up or spoke from their spot, like Roz is doing in the photo below. It is wonderful to see other people's art work.
This is our fearless leader/facilitator Roz Stendahl. It is always so fun when she shares her journal pages with us.

Isn't that sketch just wonderful?

This man sketched his way through the entire meeting, except when the supply swap was going on. That was inspiring to see someone so dedicated. Other people were drawing or working in their journals, as well. I almost did, but didn't have the right journal with me. Instead, I brought my travel journal to share with people. I am still working on the journaling part, and will share photos with you as things progress.
I love the Visual Journaling Collective. I feel so blessed to be a part of it!
