Cell Phone and a Straw

More Experimenting

Experimenting

I want some colored filters. For now, my sunglasses will have to do.
Nice effect; I like this one. Sunglasses rule!
And this is a photo through a straw! Ever thought of doing that?

SP After Haircut

I take a lot of self-portraits. I only show you a few.

An Awesome Book

Oh my goodness! This guy is killing me! Dallas Clayton is an illustrator featured in Small Magazine (see post below this one). He wrote and illustrated a book recently called An Awesome Book. It truly is awesome. You can go to his website here and see the book in its entirety. Also, check out this hilarious YouTube video about the book.

Saturday Morning Inspiration

I'm off to First Aid training this wonderful Saturday morning. Before going, I treated myself to some quiet time with my coffee, Artful Blogging magazine, and my computer (to look up the artful blogs).
I am so amazed and feel so blessed to have access to the wealth of creativity out there. Here are a couple of my top finds this morning:
Andrea Sher's blog
and Orly Avineri's blog

Enjoy your Saturday!

More Powderhorn Art Fair

These are some super awesome welded and machined art items. Check out this artist here.

Don't you love this sink? This artist creates with resin. Beautiful work!

My sister likes fishies.

I always love to see Betsy Bowen's booth.

See art fairs make people really HAPPY!

Especially when there is beautiful music to go with the art

The lake, the people, the booths

Powderhorn Art Fair

My friend Emily Floyd is an artist. She was at the Powderhorn Art Fair this year with a few of her friends from the Vine Arts Collective. Emily makes wonderful jewelry. Lately she's been making earrings out of recycled bicycle tubes. They are so cool, they almost make me want to get my ears pierced! Emily is working on getting her website up and running, but for now, she can be emailed at emilyfloyd9@yahoo.com. She will also be a part of the Seward Art Crawl this fall if you are a local Twin Citian.
