Thumbprint Art

I am a teacher, and one of the many reasons I love what I do is because of the fabulous artwork that children create. Shown here are a few thumbprint birds, as well as lion. Aren't they great?
This kind of work reminds of one of my favorite artists/etsy shop, the small object.
Also, look at the books of Ed Emberley for further fingerprint and thumbprint art inspiration.

Oh I remember making thumb print people too!
I think I might squeeze a little of that nostalgic creativity back into my journal pages soon!
