Many Voices-My New Favorite Bookseller and Coffee House!!!!

Finally got to visit Many Voices book store and coffee shop. I've been waiting nearly 2 years for it to reopen!!!

This is the image painted on the bathroom wall. It is the owner's mother. So cool!

Computers and Applications

Why do I bother to mess with my computer??!! I worked on uploading photos today, and somehow that took up much of my day!! I tried a new program this evening called pixelpipe. Hopefully it won't ruin my computer or anything. So, with pixelpipe, I can upload photos from my iPhoto, then have them directly posted to my blog or to flickr or to facebook. Pretty crazy, eh? So the two random photos you see in the previous post were uploaded via pixelpipe. It sounds like a really cool idea, but right now I don't quite understand it all! Also, suddenly my internet connection went "caput" after downloading photo applications! I guess that's all of my ranting for now, as I am back on the internet!

Day of the Dead Altered Book Images

Here are some photos from the recent altered book pages I did for Karen's Day of the Dead book. I loved the theme. I had a lot of fun with it.

Thai Tonight

I am super excited to eat Thai food with my sister and hubby tonight. If I remember I'll take some pics to share.

Also, I will be posting some new altered book pages completed on Monday evening for my meeting at MCBA.

A Few Self-Portraits

Yesterday it was 80 degrees and sunny. It was gorgeous outside. I got a pile of books and my journal, too, then sat outside to enjoy the sun. I grabbed my camera and took a few self-portraits.

ART CARS & City Shots

So the other night when I went to the art opening, the art show started outside of the gallery with these art cars! They were so fun to see. I also enjoyed taking a few shots of the city while I was downtown. Hope you enjoy!

A Seriously Good ART Attack!

Here are some pics from the Art Opening I attended tonight. Barbara Gilhooly is extremely talented! It was also soooo fun being out and about in the city!
