Huge Adventure Photos Part 1-Rain Forest and Washington Coast

For those of you who do not know, my husband and I just got home from an 11 day road trip to the west coast. We drove through 9 states in all. We visited many national parks and the city of Portland. It was a spectacular trip. I am so excited to share some it here with you through photos. I plan to make a ROD journal post vacation. Not sure if people usually do things that way, but I collected many things, and did not have time prior to leaving on vacation to make my journal. As that project gets under way, I'll share it with you here, too.

These photos were taken in Olympic National Park in Washington.

We were crazy enough to camp in the rain forest. Guess what? It rained. A LOT!!

The rain didn't bother us much. We were thrilled to be seeing such beauty!

I thought these looked like toad creatures. I'm not sure what they are from. Do you know?

The mossy tree branches were enchanting.

Thank goodness for camp fires!

This is a photo of us in front of a huge, I mean HUGE cedar tree in the Olympic National Forest.

And then we reached the Pacific Northwest Coast!!!!! WE had sooooo much fun there!

This is a happy face.

This is a playful man.

I think we took nearly 10,000 photos all together. It will take some time to weed through them and put some kind of book or album together. For now, I will continue to post some on my blog. Please leave your comments. I would love to hear from you!

HUGE ADVENTURE Coming SOON

(Note: Images above are not mine. They were found in Google Images).

HELLO! I've got a huge adventure coming up this week. My husband and I are taking a road trip to the Pacific Northwest. We are going to visit places like Portland, Olympic National Park, Glacier National Park, Mt. Rainier, and even the Redwoods in Northern California.
I am soooo excited. So, I won't be blogging for awhile, but I will have A TON to share with you when I get back in a couple of weeks.
Until then, send happy energy and safe trip vibes my way, and I will send all good things out to you, too.

I Like You in Minneapolis

A few weeks ago when I went on my independent bookstore tour with my dad, I stopped in one of the coolest shops (fyi, this isn't a bookstore, but I had to stop by anyway) in Minneapolis. It is called I Like You. One of the owners is married to my friend from high school. The shop features tons of handmade goods by local artists. It is truly an incredible experience just to walk into the store. When I was there, there were colorful hula hoops lining the window front. They made me think of this.

What a great display idea!

U like keys? Me, too.

My dad bought me a GoGirl. I can't wait to use it when I'm camping in the Pacific Northwest!

Etsy Update And A Brand New Product Announcement

PLEASE READ THE WRITTEN POST, AS IT ANNOUNCES MY BRAND NEW PRODUCT!!!

Hi Everyone,
I have been up since 5am working on my Etsy shop update. I listed a bunch of new items. They are priced to sell. Some of the items are: blank cards, sewn paper decorations that hang, zipper pouches, and last but not least, I am proud to introduce to you a BRAND NEW INVENTION!

If you've been reading this blog, you know that I've become a huge fan of online classes. With each online class, there is typically a website, login information, a password, special groups on flickr or facebook for each class, etc. I had post-it notes all over my computer desk with this type of information. So, I created something for myself to keep all of this together, and I made some for YOU TOO! I'd like to introduce the ONLINE CLASSES INFORMATION RECORD JOURNAL! I am really excited about these. If you are excited, too, please let me know!
