Prince

Well, even if you don't live in Minneapolis, you've probably heard of Prince.  Check out the info about him in Wikkipedia.

Or, if you're a fan, you might want to check out the new website that was just launched a day ago. For some reason it wasn't working that great for me, but Rollingstone Magazine said the same thing about it.

I've been listening to Prince all night due to a friend's enthusiasm about the upcoming album that comes out on Sunday at Target.  Go listen to some great music, even if it isn't Prince!

I went to Oceanaire last night with my bff and her boyfriend and my hubbie. It was so delicious and fun. I'm going to have to save up some money to go back again soon!

Pizza and Burritos

Why is it that I struggle so much with figuring out what to eat for dinner?  

Here are some answers I came up with:

I don't shop for groceries on a regular basis

I hate to spend money on food

I don't have a weekly meal plan

I'll eat almost anything

I secretly hope that my husband will cook, because he is so good at it

Here are some positives to not knowing what I'm going to eat for dinner:

The options are always open, so a spontaneous night out is no problem

I can eat what I'm craving, not what was planned

It forces my husband and I to have a daily phone conversation around 5pm

I don't always have dishes to do after dinner because a big meal isn't always made!  

(I think I like that one the best!)

I cut my thumb today.  I almost went to the ER, but decided I'd be alright.

Como Sunday

I went to Como Park today with some friends and my hubbie.  It was a beautiful, sunny day outside.  It was nice to walk around and see the tropical plants, the big cats at the zoo, and feel the sunshine on our hair.

Esther and Jerry Hicks

I've been bitten by the Esther and Jerry Hicks bug.  It is kind of a big, radical one, so check it out with caution.  It all seems pretty crazy at first.  Here is where you can find out what I'm talking about: Abraham-Hicks.

Moon dog

This morning on my way to work, I saw a moon dog.  It was awesome.  Life is beautiful even if it is 5:50am and you are extremely tired from not sleeping well the night before.

PS-The image shown is not what I saw.  It was a full moon with a bright, and sort of rainbow-like

 arc on either side.  

Coffee Shop Date on Sunday

Well, it finally happened.  It didn't happen exactly as I envisioned, but that doesn't really matter. What matters is that I was thrilled to be sitting at an independent coffee shop with my husband working in my journal and drinking something hot.  (We both ended up ordering Zen TAZO tea).  

Here is the proof that this event did occur!

Science Museum Day

Yesterday my husband and I went to the Science Museum for his birthday.  We hadn't been there for a long time.  It was a really fun day.  We saw an IMAX movie at the Omni Theater called The Grand Canyon Adventure.  These are the photos that I took while we were walking around some of the exhibits.
